ODM Nyamira MCAs want the government to respect a court order and reinstate Kitutu Masaba MP Timothy Bosire’s security. The withdrawal of Bosire’s security is linked to his reluctance to stand in honour of KDF forces killed in El Adde, Somalia.

James Maroro (Manga) and Beauttah Omanga of Bogichora yesterday accused Interior CS Joseph Nkaissery and the Inspector General of Police Joseph Boinnet of disregarding court orders and violating the constitution. “We expect Nkaissery and Boinnet to lead by example and obey court orders. They should not perpetrate impunity. This is tantamount to returning us to the dark ages,” said Maroro, the Nyamira ODM chairman. Omanga said: “The MP’s security is paramount and if anything happens to him, the government should be held accountable.”
