Cord MCA Peter Kurrinyo

of Mosiro ward, Kajiado county, died from a liver disease on Saturday night.

Kurrinyo was pronounced dead on arrival at Narok County Referral Hospital.

Members of the assembly said he had not been in good health since June 2015.

“He had not been in good health for about a year. Doctors in Narok confirmed he suffered from cirrhosis of the liver," said Magadi MCA Peter Pariken.

He said on Sunday that MCAs had started holding meetings to discuss the burial.

Pariekn said Kurrinyo was last seen in Kajiado town last week alongside Ewuaso Kedong MCA Justus Ngossor and Keekonyokie's George Sunkuyia.

He said the two later escorted him to his village manyatta in Mosiro.

Kurrinyo and Pariken were the only Cord MCAs in the assembly which has 23 members from the Jubilee coalition.

The two and Governor David Nkedianye were elected on Cord tickets in the 2013 general election.
