Kiambu county is set to benefit from a Sh3 billion residential property being built by Cytonn Investments Management.
The development, The Alma, sits on a 4.9-acre plot in Ruaka town.
Cytonn chief executive Edwin Dande said they have contracted China National Aero-technology International Engineering Corporation
for the construction work.
He said they have sold 137 units, thanks to the investor confidence they have gained in Kiambu's real estate market.
"This is a comprehensive lifestyle development and we expect those who have invested to get huge returns," he said during the groundbreaking ceremony on Monday morning.
