Nollywood hunk was in Kenya for a three day visit. The visit was totally work related. Mike was in the country to scout for both locations and talent for a Kenyan movie he will be shooting.
The movie will be co-produced by former beauty queen Juliet Achieng.
Speaking to Word Is, Juliet said, "Mike has always been a friend and we have always talked about doing a movie project together. Initially, we were to work on a TV series but we settled on a movie. He was in the country to scout for locations and meet a few people here and there."
Juliet added, "The movie will be shot in April here in Kenya. Popular Nollywood stars Angela Okorie and Mike will be joined by an equally popular Kenyan cast and directed by Nigerian filmmaker Charles Uwagbai. Above all i want to showcase the country as a tourist destination and show off it's beautiful movie locations."
The former Miss World Kenya will also have a starring role as "a powerful woman who deals in antiques" she will interact with Mike's character who will be involved in a "case of mistaken identity".
The yet to be shot flick will be a comedy whereby Mike plays the role of a naive Nigerian man who suffers cross culture stigma when he first jets into Kenya from Nigeria.
During his visit to Kenya over the weekend, Mike who was accompanied by the director Charles Uwagbai meet a number of Kenyan actresses and actors, made a courtesy call to Nairobi governor's office and visited a possible movie location in Namanga.
