Four suspected thugs were shot dead and guns found in two separate incidents in Nairobi on Wednesday night.
Three who were on a motorcycle were gunned down at the Donholm roundabout and a homemade gun found.
Buruburu CID boss Jeremiah Ikiao said tens of mobile phones were also found in the incident at about 10pm.
The fourth suspect was killed in a foiled robbery in Kayole estate at about 8pm.
Nairobi CID boss Ireri Kamwende said the man was among three people who attempted to steal from an M-Pesa shop.
This comes days after three armed gangsters were shot dead along Links road in Nyali, Mombasa.
Police recovered several rifles from the gang believed to have been on a robbery mission in the area.
