A Nairobi woman is seeking an annulment of her marriage to a Cameroonian national citing infidelity and witchcraft.

Jane Wanuna, 50, made the application before the High Court through her lawyer who asked the court to grant her a divorce after discovering the unnamed man has a wife and three children in Cameroon.

Wanuna expressed regret over the three-year marriage and stopped short of accusing her husband for her inability to bear children saying she found items used for rituals in her Kyuna home.

She made an appeal to “progressive” women who have worked hard to make their money legally not to fall prey to men without knowing them well.

Wanuna’s lawyer Waithaka Wachira said the court set March 24 as the date for the hearing and was confident of getting the annulment after the discovery of the other three children.
