Results withheld for Nambale Secondary

KCSE results for 245 candidates of Nambale Boys Secondary School have been withheld, causing anxiety among students and parents.

Parents flocked to the school after they failed to obtain results of their children via SMS, but they did not to get a clarification.

Principal Solomom Sitsuma could not be reached as he was reportedly in a crisis meeting with the staff.

No reason was given for withholding the results.

Education Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i said results for 5,101 candidates were cancelled from 305 centres.

Only Isiolo county had no cheating case.

Kolanya Girls, Sigalame, Butula Boys and Kigandole Secondary school had one straight A each.

Ekirapa Grace Magdalene of Kolanya Girls scored an A with 82 aggregate points.

Liaka Kennedy of Butula scored an A of 81 points.
