A boy yesterday died in Embu town after a stray bullet hit him as police dispersed residents trying to lynch a pastor allegedly found with a trader’s wife.
Kevin Macharia died on the spot after the bullet hit him in the cheek and went through the back of his head during the afternoon incident.
Witnesses said he was walking with his father towards a chemist near Oilibya petrol station when he was hit.
Gichovi said he asked Macharia to wait outside the chemist as he bought medicine.
