REGGAE lovers celebrated Bob Marley's 71st birthday with a party at Club Off-Road, Lang'ata, in Nairobi last Saturday. The event was marked by deejay performances from legendary DJ Ras Ken, DJ Shiqx, DJ Tsunamie, DJ Pawie and emceed by MC Phillipo and MC Daddy Poa.
Known as the King of Reggae, Bob Marley was born on February 6, 1945 and died of cancer on May 11, 1981 in Miami at the age of 36.
His 71st birthday was marked with a series of celebrations across the world including London, Vienna and throughout Jamaica.
