Wiper kicks three MPs out of House committees

Wiper party has expelled Regina Ndambuki (Kilome), John Munuve (Mwingi North) and Joe Mutambo (Mwingi Central)

from various House committees.

National Assembly Speaker Justin Muturi confirmed on Wednesday evening that he had received notices on the discharge of the three.

“I wish to report to the House that I have received correspondence from the Minority party chief whip, conveying the decision of the Cord coalition to discharge these members," he said in a statement.

Regina was a member of the Departmental Committee on Administration and National Security and the Joint Committee on Parliamentary Broadcasting and Library.

Munuve was a member of the Departmental Committee on Energy, Communication and Information and the Departmental

Committee

on Justice and Legal Affairs.

Mutambo was also a member of the Departmental Committee on Energy, Communication and Information. He also sat in the Procedure and House Rules

Committee

and the Constitutional Implementation Oversight Committee.

This comes a day after Cord

Lunga Lunga MP Khatib Mwashetani from the National Assembly's House Business Committee.

Cord replaced Mwashetani, said to have ben one of the MPs warming up to Jubilee, with Mombasa Woman representative Mishi Mboko.
