COAST based Kadu-Asili party has threatened to seek an injunction against use of county and national government resources by ODM and Jubilee in the Malindi by-election campaigns.

The poll is set for March 7.

Party leader Gunga Mwinga yesterday said the move aims to ensure all sides have a level playing ground.

Candidates hand over nomination papers to the IEBC today.

Mwinga spoke in Malindi town as he prepared to campaign for candidate Reuben Katana.

The Kaloleni MP said ODM and Jubilee are violating the law by using state resources for politics.

“That is a violation of electoral laws,” Mwinga said.

ODM Kilifi vice chair Teddy Mwambire said their opponents have sensed defeat and are out to make excuses.
