Web-based application, She Will Connect-My Digital Journey, seeks to give women opportunities to empowerment through learning individually or in a facilitated environment with the support of a peer network. My Digital Journey uses case scenarios relevant to women in the form of challenges, which gives them the opportunity to practice solutions before moving on to the next level.

This platform was unveiled on Tuesday morning at a breakfast meet at the Villa Rosa Kempinski where Adelle Onyango was introduced as the Kenya brand ambassador for the platform. She was joined by her Nigerian counterpart Titilope Sonuga.

Speaking at the launch, Intel Foundation president Rosalind Hudnell said that “through the Intel Global Girls and Women Initiative, we are working to empower millions of girls and women around the world by closing the gender gap in access to education, inspiring more girls and women to become creators of technology and connecting them to opportunity.”

Joining Intel Corporation senior management were USAID Kenya deputy mission director Steve Olive, The African Centre for Women Information and Communication executive director Constatine Obuya and UN Women deputy regional director Simone Ellis Oluoch-Olunga.
