Kenyan sports personalities were feted at the Sportsman of the Year Award 2015 gala at the KICC, Nairobi on Friday evening.
The event founded by legendary athlete Paul Tergat brought together all sportsmen and women to one platform to share and celebrate those who have excelled in different areas of sports both locally and Internationally.
Football champions Gor Mahia were recognised as Team of the Year and the Malkia Strikers were the Women's Sports Team. Javelin thrower Julius Yego was feted as the Sportsman of the Year while Hyvin Kiyeng was Sports Woman of the Year.
In attendance at the event were former Cameroon striker Patrick M'boma who was the celebrity guest, Culture and Sports CS Hassan Wario and French ambassador Rémi Maréchaux.
