Lusophone Film Festival opens in Nairobi

The Lusophone Film Fest

is an English-subtitled showcase of the diversity of film production in the eight Portuguese-speaking countries. The one day festival was held at the Goethe Institut in Nairobi on Saturday evening.

The festival featured two Brazilian short films Walls Upon Us and Women are Heroes about urban art and a feature film about the liberation struggle of Angola titled Njinga, Queen of Angola.

In attendance were Lendable CEO Daniel Goldfarb, UN communications specialist Hoda Dahirand and Motocorp Kenya director Dipal Patel.
