Luxury Network brings premium brands to Kenya

Access to premium brands just got more easier with the December announcement of the entry of The Luxury Network into Kenya.

For those wondering, the network was launched in London in early 2007 and has grown to be the world’s leading luxury affinity marketing, partnerships and events group.

It covers all areas of the top-end market including marine, finance, motoring, concierge, health and beauty, aviation, property, travel, golf, events, jewellery and watches, entertainment and fashion.

The network is a private consortium of luxury brands working together for mutual business and client development. So far, it has opened up 30 offices worldwide and has more than 500 luxury brands members. 2016 promises to be be big for the founding members of the elite network, who gathered for an informal session at the Sankara Nairobi Hotel last month.

Luxury Network Kenya CEO Michael Mwai, a serial entrepreneur and former executive director of BNI (Business Networking International), noted: “The luxury market in Nairobi is growing rapidly and it seemed fitting for us to open office here. We are really excited to create a collaboration between some of the best players in this market. The goal is to create dynamic synergies between brands that can lead to startling and exciting results.”

Of particular interest, especially for the fashionistas, is the expectations for the Network through Little Red.

Director Aziz Fazal says, “We will be showcasing some of the most luxurious clothing brands of the world within the network and in conjunction with future events. Our expectations for 2016 will revolve around the luxurious Su Misura events by the Master Tailors of Brioni, Stefano Ricci, Ermenegildo Zegna, Georgio Armani and also the Italian Master Shoe and Leather House of Salvatore Ferragamo in Kenya.”
