President Uhuru tours Mombasa old town and Fort-Jesus at night

President Uhuru Kenyatta toured the Mombasa Old Town and Fort Jesus on Tuesday night.

The president was accompanied by Mvita MP Abdhulswamad Nassir ,KPLC MD Ben Chumo,Malindi North MP Gideon Mung'aro.

He later toured Jomo Kenyatta Public beach famous Pirates and ended up his tour at 11:30pm at night.

The president is set to launch the street lights in the city after completion of all installations at major streets before leaving for Nairobi.

While at Jomo Kenyatta Public beach, Uhuru engaged with the local and foreign tourists urging them to enjoy the beaches and other sceneries in the region.

"You should all feel free to walk or even take a swim at any time because our country is safe and will remain to be," Uhuru told a group of tourists.
