The late former president of India Dr APJ Abdul Kalam left a great legacy through his remarkable career and leadership abilities. In his career span, Dr Kalam wrote over 30 books and was considered to be one of India’s widely read and best-selling authors.
Saturday saw the launch of one of his manuscripts Transcendence, that documents the 14-year journey between Dr Kalam and his spiritual guru, His Holiness Pramukh Swami Maharaj.
Hosted by the BAPS Establishment in Nairobi, the event was attended by various personalities including Bidco CEO Vimal Shah, Mombasa Senator Omar Hassan, Indian High Commisioner Yogeshwar Varma, Nairobi County deputy governor Jonathan Mueke and Sameer Investments chairman Naushad Merali.
