More than 100 motorcyclists in Keroka yesterday staged a protest over an alleged frequent harassment by officers from Ramasha police post in Kisii county. The operators claimed that the officers are arresting them even if they possess the required documents. Led by their chairman, Evans Ombati, the motorcyclists, who operate between Keroka and Masimba towns, alleged that officers also detain their motorcycles until they offer a bribe for their release.
