[PHOTOS] CS Owalo meets with UK Ambassador Neil Wigan

Information, Communication and the Digital Economy Cabinet Secretary Eliud Owalo on Monday held his first formal meeting with the UK Ambassador to Kenya, Neil Wigan.

The Ministry of Information, Communications and the Digital Economy is responsible for formulating, administering, managing and developing the information, broadcasting and communication policy.

"This morning, I presided over a fruitful first formal meeting between the Ministry of Information, Communications and the Digital Economy and the UK Ambassador to Kenya, Neil Wigan, in my office" Owalo said in a statement on X.

The ministry was in October, 2022, split into two state departments through Executive Order No. 1/2022. 

These are the State Department of Broadcasting and Telecommunications and the State Department of ICT and Digital Economy.
