Healthcare workers on Tuesday held a protest to push the government to implement their demands.
The healthcare workers which included doctors, medical interns and nurses marched to the Afya House and Parliament Buildings.
The doctors have been on strike for the past four weeks to demand among others posting and fair remuneration of intern doctors.
They carried placards and blew vuvuzelas as they marched through the streets of Nairobi.
This is even as the government maintained that the interns should take the Sh2.4 billion released and call off the strike.
The unions have, however, noted that they will not settle for anything less, adding that they will only call off the strike once all their demands are met.
