Police are investigating the murder of a 38-year-old woman whose body was found lying in a pool of blood in a village in Nyamira.

The woman was identified as Judy Nyaboke. Her body was discovered on the roadside with blood oozing from her nose.

Police said her neck had bruises and they are yet to know the motive of the murder and those behind the same.

The incident happened on Wednesday, May 15 in the Moitunya sublocation within Eratiri village.

The body was moved to Christa Marianne Hospital mortuary awaiting autopsy.

Police said they are looking for the suspected killers.

The body of a man had a deep cut on the right ear and other injuries on the face.

The motive of the murder and those behind the same are yet to be known.

Police investigate death of 2-year-old boy

Police are investigating the death of a two-year-old boy whose decomposed body was recovered from the riverbed of a river in the Kasarani, Nairobi.

A resident who was clearing a trench spotted the body that was decomposing on Sunday, May 12 evening.

The man said the body had been dumped there by the flooded Gatharaini River within the Immaculate area.

The body seemed to have been swept downstream to the area. It is not clear where and when the minor drowned, police said.

Police were called and picked up the body to the mortuary pending autopsy and identification.
