Kibera's head coach David Vijago is optimistic about dumping Zetech Sparks out of the FKF Cup when the two sides meet in a semifinal duel at Dandora Stadium on Saturday.

Despite the challenges posed by the inclement weather, Vijago emphasised their determination to advance.

"The mood in camp is good. We have managed to train despite the ongoing rains," Vijago remarked.

They welcome back Maximilla Robi who had an injury and Lilian Mmboga, who missed the 3-0 quarterfinal win against Bungoma through suspension.

However, they will miss goalkeeper Lucy Kisaga, who saw a red card against Bungoma while Maria Nyambila is still out injured.

Vijago said their ultimate goal is to reach the final.

"We beat Bungoma and made it to the semifinal. Our plan now is to play in the final. We plan to put our best foot forward," he said.

Zetech Sparks coach Bernard Kitolo has promised a spectacular match. Kitolo chose to keep his cards close to his chest but insisted on a proper tactical approach with ample preparation.

Captain Yvonne Kavere rallied their fans to back them in their quest to reach the final.

"The mood in the camp is right. The players are highly motivated for this fixture," Kavere said.

Ulinzi Starlets will battle Women's Premier League leaders Police Bullets as the former seek to keep the title they won last year.

The final is scheduled for June 1.
