The Adventist Music Annual Concert and Awards (AMAC) is set to debut in Kenya.

The awards will unite musicians in a celebration of spiritual harmony and talent.

The groundbreaking event, slated for November 24, 2024, marks a significant milestone in the cultural landscape of East Africa.

By recognizing and appreciating the diverse musical gifts present among SDA members, AMAC will cultivate a deeper sense of camaraderie and spiritual connection.

"This initiative represents a pivotal moment for the SDA community in Kenya," said John Nyogot, one of the key organizers of AMAC.

"Music has always been an integral part of our spiritual expression, and AMAC provides a platform to showcase and honour the talents within our midst."

He added that AMAC stands as a testament to the vibrant musical traditions within the Seventh-day Adventist (SDA) community and aims to foster a nurturing environment for emerging talents.

The gala event will unite musicians across East Africa, spanning various genres and styles.

From soul-stirring gospel melodies to uplifting contemporary compositions, AMAC will captivate audiences with its rich tapestry of musical performances.

"AMAC is more than just a music awards ceremony; it's a testament to the power of music in uplifting the soul and strengthening our faith," Nyogot stated.

"We believe that this event will catalyze inspiring future generations of musicians within the SDA community."

In addition to recognizing outstanding musical achievements, AMAC will also feature workshops and seminars aimed at nurturing talent and imparting valuable skills to aspiring musicians.

Through mentorship programs and collaborative opportunities, AMAC is expected to create a legacy of musical excellence that resonates throughout East Africa.

"The inaugural Adventist Music Awards Ceremony promises to be an unforgettable experience, uniting hearts and voices in a celebration of faith, fellowship, and musical talent," Nyogot said.
